Dragon Quest Kickoff Party Level Up At Your Library Summer Reading Program
Join us for an epic adventure as we launch our summer reading program! Transform our cozy library into a magical realm where young heroes ages 3-12 can embark on the ultimate Dragon Quest.
Quest Activities:
- Dragon Egg Hunt: Search high and low throughout the library stacks to discover hidden dragon eggs
- Craft Corner: Create your own dragon puppet, design a medieval shield, or build a treasure chest to store your summer reading rewards
- Dragon Games Arena: Test your skills with pin the tail on the dragon, dragon egg relay races, and a storytelling circle where brave adventurers share tales of legendary dragons
Special Features:
- Meet our friendly library dragon mascot who will help guide your quest
- Receive your official “Reading Dragons and Friends” reading log and playing cards learn how to earn XP (reading points) throughout the summer
- Sample medieval snacks fit for a knight’s feast
- Photo booth with dragon props and medieval costumes

Come dressed as your favorite fantasy character – knights, wizards, princesses, and dragons all welcome!
Registration recommended but walk-ins accepted. Parents encouraged to stay and learn about our summer reading rewards system.
